Crystal Falls Health & Rehab held their annual Volunteer Dinner April 22nd.  The program was "Celebrating People In Action"  The event was planned to show appreciation to all of the volunteers who have given their service to Crystal Falls for many years. 

A brisket dinner was served to over 75 volunteers followed by with games and fun. 

Crystal Falls expressed their appreciation to the volunteers for their years of dedicated service ranging in length from a few years to almost 50 years.  Included was the Hospital Auxiliary for 37 years of service to the nursing centers and the community.

We at Crystal Falls Health & Rehab are honored to have volunteers who commit their lives to bettering the lives of others.

Crystal Falls Health & Rehab held the annual Queens Pageant Saturday, September 12th at 7 pm.  The master of Ceremonies was Debbie Neel of Horatio.  The judges were: Veva Foster from Horatio and Debbie and Mark Smith from Texarkana.  Entertainment was by Joey Shaver from Lockesburg.

Contestants were as follows:  Linda Wilson, Louise Lazenby, Ruth Runyan, Helen Hartness, Faye Pettigrew, Nadine Smith, Janet Pumphrey and Stella Friend.

Linda Wilson was crowned the winner by Betty Wittehmeyer, last year's winner.  Runner up was Janet Pumphrey.  Refreshments were served following the pageant.
