BLOOD DONORS NEEDED               NOW

Due to the lack of blood donors over the past few weeks, United Blood Services is issuing an urgent appeal for blood.  Almost all blood types are lower than an adequate level.  Some blood types are as low as they have been in a couple of years.  This holiday season has taken a toll on the Texarkana blood supply.

Since mid-December, the amount of blood needed on a daily basis has fallen short and has continued thru today.  If donations do not increase, United Blood Services may not be able to meet future needs of area hospitals.  For that reason, we need all blood donors to make a commitment to save lives by giving the gift of life and Finding that Hero in themselves just as soon as possible.  Again, United Blood Services is issuing an urgent appeal for blood donations!  Please make it a point to stop by 1321 College Drive in Texarkana or at a blood drive near you to give that precious donation!
